PINK IN CENTRAL PARK




I have been in New York City for the past three days and the weather today was absolutely beautiful! It was a great day for exploring outside and wear this new blush pink coat I picked up from H&M. I started the day with brunch with my sister at Sarabeth's which overlooks the park and has the best pancakes I've ever had! I definitely will come back here when I visit again!

SUMMER HAUL


As the weather gets hotter, I was in need of more summer pieces to add to my closet and although I didn'g get anything of color, I can always add accessories to add more color! I'm always leaning towards black and white clothing but I definitely need to break out of that habit and wear more color!

These tank tops are from Zara and are perfect for layering or simply wearing with a pair of shorts. 
This black kimono is from Heavenly Couture and I was wearing it in my last post 
White lace sleeved shirt from H&M. I absolutely love this shirt, its versatile, lightweight and a beautifully delicate piece to style during the warm weather. 


I've been on the hunt for a large hat like this and when I found it at H&M for only $12 I was extremely happy! It fits really well and its a great item to have during vacation, days to the beach or when you just want to accessorize an outfit.

This past weekend my sister and I went shopping and ended buying 2 bags each and wanted to show you are great finds! The Foley & Corrina bags and the Steve Madden is from Nordstrom Rack and the large black handbag is from Last Call by Neiman Marcus.

Snowy day at Dolcezza Cafe



Its another snow day here in the DC area and with school closed, we headed to the Mosaic District! We've never been here before, but many of my friends have recommended me to check out the area. Its a quaint and cute place located in Fairfax with stores like Anthropologie, Target, Lou Lou, small boutiques and healthy restaurants and cafes. 

Dolcezza serves gelato, pastries and coffee, the space has a urban warm feel with cute decor and an welcoming environment. Its a charming place to sit down with a book, write a blog post or just to people watch!

BLACK FRIDAY


Black Friday has come and gone, marking the official start of the Christmas season! As well as every year, I participated in Black Friday shopping, I mean why wouldn't you? I went to two malls in my area and shopped in H&M and Zara, as well as some other stores for Christmas presents. Zara had 30% off the entire store and H&M had sales on particular items, here are the pieces I picked up.

Shake Shack

On Monday which was Columbus Day weekend we headed over to DC to try Shake Shack on F Street which has been getting a lot of news. The restaurant was packed when we entered and the employees were all very friendly.







I ordered the 'Shroom Burger which was the only veggie burger and is made out of mushrooms. I would definitely recommend it, its fried with mushroom and cheese cooked inside of it. The fries were also really good and I can say its the best veggie burger I've had in DC.

Autumn Outfit


Autumn is here! Time to layer in denim, leather and scarves! I love this time of year with the leaves changing and the holiday right around the corner. I went to Old Town Alexandria today and did some shopping, here is what I wore today.

H&M Sale!

H&M right now is having a great sale on already reduced items! I went to three different locations to get all the deals and clothes they had to offer. I was so surprised to see how cheap their clothes are right now and I just wanted to buy everything! Here are all the clothes I picked up.

This was my favorite purchase of all because I had been wanting this jacket for a while now and when I saw it for only $10 I knew I had to get it!

All these pants were $10 and fit very comfortably. I love the prints and colors for the summer and the fabric is super lightweight and great for hot weather.
