BLACK FRIDAY


Black Friday has come and gone, marking the official start of the Christmas season! As well as every year, I participated in Black Friday shopping, I mean why wouldn't you? I went to two malls in my area and shopped in H&M and Zara, as well as some other stores for Christmas presents. Zara had 30% off the entire store and H&M had sales on particular items, here are the pieces I picked up.

Shake Shack

On Monday which was Columbus Day weekend we headed over to DC to try Shake Shack on F Street which has been getting a lot of news. The restaurant was packed when we entered and the employees were all very friendly.







I ordered the 'Shroom Burger which was the only veggie burger and is made out of mushrooms. I would definitely recommend it, its fried with mushroom and cheese cooked inside of it. The fries were also really good and I can say its the best veggie burger I've had in DC.

Autumn Outfit


Autumn is here! Time to layer in denim, leather and scarves! I love this time of year with the leaves changing and the holiday right around the corner. I went to Old Town Alexandria today and did some shopping, here is what I wore today.

Cantina Mexicana

After visiting The Catholic University of America in D.C, my family and I wanted to find a Mexican restaurant so we found Cantina Mexican in Crystal City.

The guacamole was really good!
I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla which wasn't as great as I thought it would be.The food is filling but lacks flavor.

I went to Ulta yesterday to pick up a few things. I have never used simple products and when I saw the trial size I picked it up to give it a go! At the last second when I was about to check out I saw the Benefit High beam and Posie tint, I've heard so much about these two products and I'm excited to try them out.

Green Smoothie

This is a simple healthy green smoothie recipe which takes a few minutes and tastes delicious!  Its  great for breakfast, before or after a workout and great for the summer season. Its sweet and the fruit masks the taste of the green veggies but still gives you the nutrients of the kale and spinach. 


1 tsp. of  chia seeds and 1 tsp. of flaxseed
Frozen Strawberries
1/2 cup kale
1 banana
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup spinach

Spring in DC

My family and I took a drive to Washington DC to celebrate my dad's birthday. It was a gorgeous day with the sun out and flowers blossoming. It is definitely feeling like spring out!

Leaves & Paisley

H&M








This jacket is from H&M. I absolutely love the patterns and its quite unique and different. The piece has a leaf pattern with a paisley pattern on the arms which matches the inside of the jacket. The cuffs and the waist band have a stretch material on them, which makes it more comfortable. Its a great lightweight piece, easy to style and is perfect for the spring season!

Canon EOS Rebel T5 Review

I recently purchased my first DSLR camera and had been waiting for this one to be released. I had pre-ordered it and the camera was released on March 13th. The quality of photographs and videos are amazing with 18 megapixels and the camera even has in camera editing. Canon had made the LCD screen bigger than their previous Rebel Cameras and includes full HD videos. It has an ISO range of 100-6400 and can be expanded to 12800. The lens that comes with the kit is the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS I.

Marching into Snow
